Coaches Meeting Highlights:
Overview:
Here are some handouts and highlights from our February 8, 2010 meeting:
By
becoming more aware of your Body, Language and Emotions you can create
a new approach to any issue. This new approach can offer
sustainable change by considering you as a whole---not just what is in
your mind, your racing thoughts, your motivations, your fears or your
passions. It creates an opportunity to consider where you are
as a whole and where you want to be. When you practice
something as simple as the exercise we created with Ann last night
(thank you again Ann!). These practices which incorporate all
three of these domains create deep and meaningful shifts because they
can retrain not only your brain but also the rest of you to more fully
feel the confidence you want to feel, the openness you would like to
invite or any other possibility that would serve your life.
We
also explored the simple tool that Stuart Heller created called
Centered Presence for Decisive Thinking. Listen to the
attached MP3 file to hear Stuart guide you in this practice that
supports focus and accomplishing goals in the midst of our busy lives.
You are also invited to explore Stuart Heller’s Online
Library for access to papers, movies and practices you can use to dive
into a new language of the non-verbal - http://cultivatingexcellence.com/CX%20webpages/OnlineLibrary.html
Also
below is some information on the Five Rings Coaching Program and
Initiative. If you would like to learn more Courtney
Schwarten's contact info is in the handout.
